From Non-Farming Background, Claremorris Co Mayo.
Studied agricultural science in UCD finishing in 2012. During this course spent 6 months in New Zealand where got first exposure to large scale dairy farming.
After a course in UCD, moved to Scotland to work at Cumrue as a trainee herdsman. Spent four years at Cumrue before moving to Shawsholm as a farm manager/sharefarmer where we are about to finish our second season.
